Are these magnetic in any way?

Magnetic properties of good quality stainless steel, in my opinion, will be zero or close to zero. These are very magnetic, as I ordered them. "I'll leave it up to you to figure it out."

What is the inside diameter of the container?

1/4" is exactly what the description says it is.

I'm curious about the washer's thickness. ?

This washer has a 0.25-inch material thickness.

Is it possible to use 12 screws with these?

Yes, the fit is a little sloppy, but it's close enough.

until now, that is. This is not a stainless steel product. Over the years, I've placed numerous orders for this part, all of which have been satisfactory. Until the incoming inspection catches this one. The parts were not stainless. br>br>For some reason, this order of stainless 1/4 lock washers isn't stainless, as evidenced by the parts clinging to my magnet in the picture. br>I received a prompt refund, but I'm now hesitant to place another order.

locks. My order arrived just now. Two split-seconds were all that was required. locks! It's not a big deal, but it's inconvenient when you're promised something and then let down. It starts to add up if they do this on every box! They're also not SS, as you can see. Stainless steel does not have any magnetic properties. Buyer beware, as these appear to be some sort of low-cost Chinese import.
