Despite the fact that you still need mud and tape, you still need to apply them. As far as the surface of the wall is concerned, this is a simple and straightforward method of attaching the piece. This is great for patches that are smaller. There's no need to cut the drywall back to the studs. It has been a while since I used these clips. I would definitely recommend this product. * Glen B.

Behind my bathtub, there was a large rectangular hole in the wall. It was unfamiliar to me that Prest-On Instant was available I did not see them on Amazon until I saw them on the back 1/2 Inch Drywall Fastener page. A short video describing how to use them was shown to me. My use of these made me save considerable time in that I did not have much room between the tub and the wall. They were easy to insert. I was able to snap off the retainer hooks In addition to patching tape and mud, I was able to refinish the leg in a sturdy manner. If I spend the money on fasteners again, I can do at least another couple of I also like the fact that the drywall screws were just the right size.
The product is A ceiling from two pieces of sheet rock needed the clips joined - I used two of them Toward the top of the rafters, the pieces came together. 2) Later on, I used 2 to make a surface into which a screw could be inserted (Again, same older house. I'll never go back without these. The price is definitely worth it.
Moreover, I can create an evenly matched surface, so the mud I use to create an invisible repair is a minimal amount.
If you need to repair holes, these are a must-have. The drywall is no longer necessary to cut directly to the studs and the 2x4s are no longer necessary to screw in. It is easy to use, quick, and convenient. When you apply joint tape, you won't need to feather out and blend as much paint around the repair site if you remove about 1/2" of paint around the repair site.
Patching wallboard is a breeze with this tool. This wallboard is strong and sturdy. It neatly lines up with the wallboards being used to cover the hole in the wall so that the finished patch just melts into the wall after proper sanding and painting.
In the case of new pieces, they hold the new ones well. On the other hand, if you are repairing a lot of holes, as in a repiping job, you will go through them quite quickly as some holes require four.
Especially useful for drywall repairs where support isn't available, these clips can be used for any type of drywall repair. Where a repair was performed, they managed to make it look like the joint was never there. I am very pleased with the seller's fast shipping.
For anyone who works with patches, this is a must-have. This is way better than what you used to get with wood. All handymen's old bag of tricks should include this. It would be more wise to invest in this pack than the old four to six pack It is also possible to purchase items from Lowe's.
