As for coarse thread, I think it is the norm for exterior screws, as I have just answered you. If you look at your knobby A/Ts like a tire, the thread will be similar to the tread pattern. You'll have a better chance of getting traction with your knobby tires. Since the metal to which machine screws are fastened is thinner, machine screws have finer threads. As a metaphor for sheet metal, I would liken it to water while wood would represent off-road

10/12/2013 was the right day for a good price. During the heat of summer in the desert, we get a lot of hot days, then a lot of It actually pulls nails right out of anything that's exposed to the elements when the temperatures change. The fascia of our house that always had nails poking out and then warped had more than one deck, a long wooden walkway, and a long wooden walkway on the porch. If I did not bang the nails back in every year then I would have to do it every The snow and ice got to be a real issue on the decks and walkways, and we would trip over them or stop in our tracks when pushing the I was finally able to start screwing everything down, and at times two of my 3-year-old twins were doing the same 1/2 inch & 1/8 inch It was just not long enough for the 3" screws, I had to add some 3-" screws There is a 1/4" gap between the stock and the workpiece. The letter A Amazon had these for about 7 bucks plus free shipping so I grabbed a few boxes. A pound box of these costs about 9 bucks at home centers and about 7 bucks on Amazon. The coating makes them perfect for outdoor construction as well as decks if you prep them Drive them into the runners with a hole on the deck board prior to driving them in I give it five stars. Even so, I wouldn't consider making that purchase at the present time given the current price of a little more than 11 bucks.
I built a redwood porch 5 years ago and it's still standing As an alternative to screws, the guys used nails. The nails were swapped out for these Grip-Ons by my son We used Rite screws, and we were very pleased with them. Several of the boards were beginning to warp and would not stay in place because we live in snow country, but replacing the nails with these screws flattened them right back into place and my porch now looks like new!.
This is perfect! I saved some money and got exactly what I needed to complete.
The nails I used for the underdeck roof are described below. I was very pleased with their performance. drill bit was tightly grasped by the head, and it did not budge. Their drills are very sharp and they drill right through the wood without any issues. Considering the price, it was very affordable.
We have not discovered any defective screws so far, though the finish is excellent and the shaft is of quality.
AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT THAT DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO.
My preference would have been 3 1/2 inch yellow zinc chrome, but I was only able to get this. The screwdrivers are definitely goo screws, however they are quite affordable.
