These were used to reinforce a pool cover reel that was sagging badly. They went in smoothly and securely. Three screws were used in each joint in the original design. For each joint, I used six of these screws. I was able to avoid spending $150 on a new reel by using these. br>br>The only drawback was that I received a sealed bag rather than a box, but I'll be able to find a box to store the remaining items in until I need them.
The screws are fine and appear to be of good quality, but the size of the hex head, which is 1/4 inch, was not mentioned in the description, and I was looking for 5/16 inch.
There have been no issues so far. I had a clamshell trailer for my snowmobile. The bottom-of-the-frame aluminum flashing was separating from the frame.
