Smaller bucking bars are required in a number of locations throughout the aircraft. Because of the extra weight of the tungsten, this is a very comfortable tool to use. even if you are not wearing gloves.
It's a well-made bucking bar with a lot of strength. It has a lot of angles to help you buck rivets all in one bar, so it's perfect for your first one. When I have the opportunity, I will definitely purchase more.
Nothing beats some good ol' tungsten when it comes to bucking. This bar is one of my favorites. It's ideal for stringers, stringer clips, and any other difficult-to-reach location. It's light and easy to handle, weighing in at 3 pounds. Rivet smasher with a killer punch. This is a purchase that you will not be disappointed with. And if you don't like it, you can return it for $175-$200. In a typical aviation job setting, you'd be paid $200 for the entire day.
It was satisfactory; however, I should have requested a larger bar with no cutout.
I've used a lot of tungsten bucking bars, and this is one of the most useful. It fits in a lot more places than you might think, and I'm glad I have one to call MINE.
Was exactly as expected, and I liked it so much that I ordered the four-piece combo set.
Machining is superb. There are no sharp edges or corners, and the etching is barely noticeable with your fingernail. Any side of the bar can be used to buck. The measurements were precise.
It's ideal for securing rivets to flanges.
