It'll go as low as you want it to go.
The grip range of the longer rivets is more extensive.
Yes. Most school buses, in my opinion, are made of 14 or 16 gauge sheet metal. This would necessitate the use of a 1/8-inch blind rivet to join them together. The rivet is 3/8 inch long, according to the accompanying description. Also, for the sake of completeness, steel rivets are not required. Aluminum will work fine and will be easier to set if your application is not overly demanding. Only steel applications are covered by this rule.
They aren't made of stainless steel, by the way.

The additional grip and strength of these rivets met the challenge, despite the fact that they required a heavy-duty riveting tool. br>I did have some issues with the stem breaking away from the rivet, and the rivet tool teeth slipping off the stem on a couple of occasions. Whether the stem material was too hard or brittle, or if it was the operator's fault, it made getting the last bit of expansion difficult and necessitated the use of another tool to get the stem flush to the rivet. Keep a good set of vice grips and a file on hand just in case.
My riding mower's muffler was easily reattached to the mounting plate. The aluminum rivets I had previously used were constantly melting.
Everything is in order.
I've only used them once. By chance, I ordered 3/16 of what I needed. These are solid rivets that I have used before. They are much more solidly constructed than Stanley brand rivets, and they do not curl when pulled.
Excellent value for money!.
a good product with prompt delivery.
I had always used smaller rivets, but I needed these 1/4" ones recently. The installation of these, unlike the aluminum ones, necessitates the use of a heavy-duty riveter tool. These, however, are extremely durable and perform admirably.
