In the photo above, notice the two nuts closest to the bottom. Right away, I noticed that the little hole in the nut was off-center. Most of the nuts have holes that are not exactly in the center of the nut. I would expect a better product at this price, but this isn't the case.
Please tell me what SORTA BAD is The Drillpro Sliding T-screws are about 2mm shorter than those provided by Drillpro As well, they are 2mm narrower, so they may lack the feel you desire when making something that should be able to be adjusted in a 2020 slot (like a NEMA motor belt tension slot or a door meant to loosen and slide out without losing levelness? It is less important that the surface sheen/gleam and evenness of the blades are not as good as those on Drillpro --I would hesitate to purchase them now if the blades cost We're saving you $00 on this purchase.
Because they are not quite large enough to fit in the slot, they are angled. The problem is that they remain tilted, so it's hard to move them into the right position for the screw to catch on. The trick to getting them to work is to be patient and fiddle with them.
It turns out that I ordered the wrong size. 20x20 extrusions and not the surface table (3018 Pro). As stated above, they do fit the 20x20 channels perfectly and are extremely durable. The ones for the surface table would have been more useful. Having backups is not a problem, either, as I have them now in case.
It seems that the material is good, and with the 2020 profile and some aluminum gusseted brackets and these T nuts, I've been able to build very strong structural pieces.
It was actually for an application where a raised portion was required to align something on top of the channel that I was searching for tee nuts that stuck up above the channel. My custom nuts sit a little below the top of the rail, so I had to use a different type of nut.
The thickness is not right. During milling, we had to reduce the size.
The only way they can slide in is.
