Soft nuts are a great replacement for this brand

The thread is sharp and holds well. My plan was to replace the stock bolts with these for my 3 point hitch post hole digger that comes with #2 shear pins. Stock bolts are worn out and are prone to vibrating loose even when torqued down due to their softness and thread wear from reusing them. shear pins bite into the shear pins and hold them for a longer period of time.

Here are the nuts you want and need if you're looking for strong, serrated nuts. It looks good, it is heavy, and it is easy to lock into place. For my solar panel array, I used them. These are designed to withstand the hot, humid Florida weather and will not.
