To connect my slide hammer to these adapters, I bought them

To make adapters for my slide hammer, I bought these. A couple of shots later, I had a screw type extractor that I welded to the dip stick tube and was able to lift it out of the block without much trouble. I was pleased with the result.

You should not buy them

The three packages came in two packages. None of them was the correct thread size, even though they were properly labeled.

On both Amazon and the bag, the thread is not correct

There is a 5/8 18 printed on these, and the bag also says 5/8 18. It isn't true that all 3 were 5/8 11, as shown in the picture with the There is doubt as to whether this was a one-off There could be a bigger issue from the factory if there is a time miss up.
