These have been my go-to tools for a fair amount of time. Miter barbs are great. A bend is made for every 4/5. They are sharp once they are in and they are powerful once they are in. Eventually, I have resorted to using them around the inside inside of the frame as well, and it really adds pressure to the board, the artwork, and the glass. The user interface is user-friendly from the very beginning. The blunt end of an old flat chisel and a tack hammer are used to hammer them in. Don't delay! Get some now! It's a decision that you won't regret. It is so much cheaper to get these than to get barbs, and they don't walk quite as much All in all, I can think of many more uses and there are like 100 in the package.
For a picture frame, I used this In the original construction, the v-shaped ring was used to securely hold it together There was a broken nail. These are the ones I replaced it with.
AN old standby in framed making, these work great for larger frames. I do a lot of small frames where these will not work, but for larger frames, they will.
I bought them to make frames. They are a little difficult to secure when driven in correctly but once they are they are strong and useful.
After I realized there is a right and wrong side to everything, it was a breeze to deal with.
Working as well as Logan, but much more economically.
Having nothing to do with it. There is nothing more to say. Get your hardware from your local hardware store and be sure what you want is what you are getting. Having fewer problems is better.
