I'm very pleased with the results
5/5

On our house, I had to replace some wood siding. The original profile is no longer available and I had to have it milled to order. In the original design, we used a similar nail and they weren't available at our local Other comments indicate I was careful, but did not bend a single one while driving them. They have been excellent and I will definitely use them in the future.

I agree, but they have to be hit Definitely a good product
5/5

Even though they are thin, they prevent In order to straighten your hammer, you need to blow dead on, or it will bend, and you can't straighten it if that happens. It's better to just pull it out and replace it than to try. As a result, they will stick well to your hands. It is true that they are delicate, yet they work quite well. In addition, they are easy to fill and to counter sink. The galvo twist nails don't perform nearly as well.

This product would not work for pine siding
3/5

Using for the 1 x 12 kind, about 25% would bend up prior to going through it. My nails stayed in place more than 1000% better when I used Grip Rite 8D nails. It would not be recommended to use the Simpson nails with the Grip Rite.

For our coastal second home, we were unable to find stainless steel nails at the not so nearby Lowes and Home Depot. My next task will be to check for bricks, siding, and windows.

For cedar shingles, this would be perfect
5/5

There isn't anyone else who installs cedar shingles that can match SS's durability and cost efficiency. I was extremely satisfied with their work.
