As a sheathing nailer, I used my Hitachi nail gun, which also handles 16-gauge nails. This leads to a lot of jams and other problems. It is probably hard to create a gun that can shoot such a wide variety of sized bullets. There are also coils on these nails, so there are fewer problems related to that as well. As for my Max gun, I really like it as well, so it's Since they are coils, they are more expensive per nail, but, they are lighter, and you do not have to reload them all the time. My opinion is that it's pretty good. The stainless nails are great for situations where stainless isn't needed, like my siding (Hardie), but these are also great for situations where stainless isn't required.
