Questions & Answers

These products work with Ryobi brad nailers that have 18 gauge?

All nailers are supposed to work with brads, according to my knowledge.

Can I use this with the Bostitch SB-48 There is an 1842bn brad nail that is of odd length of 1-1/2 inches Are you sure that 5/8" (*42mm) will work?

Driving of 18 GA Brad nails from 5/8" to 2 1/8" It will drive any staple from 5/8" to 2 1/8"

How are these joined together, are they smooth, or do they have a ring to prevent ?

Only a 1/2" of the shaft of the ring is visible below the head of the ring.

According to what you mean by durability, the answer will vary
3/5

It is true that the tensile strength will be a little less than it appears, but that is splitting hairs and seldom matters. Corrosion is the result of The resistance will be lower, but that would not be a problem unless you were going into a humid An advantage of coated nails is that they are better at gripping since the coating acts as If galvanized and stainless did not have a coating, then both would have significantly less grip, and stainless would get even less grip as the grade goes up (such as from 304 to 316).

I cannot believe Amazon's packaging is so awful! Bostitch brad nails only get one star here - not for the quality of the nails
5/5

I would have given them a ZERO-star rating if the package that Amazon shipped these in was any good. A box of nails was thrown together with two single-packs of nails and thrown into a large There are many useless, loose nails in there. Amazon amazes me every time with their packaging. Just when I think they cannot possibly do worse, they do better. There is a distinct lack of care on their part I receive a majority of stuff that I order In a short time, I will just stop ordering!.

This brad nailer works with craftsman brads
3/5

I used them in my craftsman brad nailer without any problems. A hundred and eighty shots were made with a 1/2-inch lens My pressure regulator was set at about 79 psi for 1 inch trim, 1/2 inch drywall, and into studs. I didn't have a single misfire. A UV hardened surface was used on 3 stacked pieces of engineered hardwood.

I found the packaging to be poor
3/5

The first review I submitted was rejected by Amazon. The brad package was opened, the brad strips were broken, and the product was damaged. It's no big deal that the brads themselves are still just fine, but the strips being broken up into smaller pieces obviously make it more difficult.

I was not a fan of the packaging
4/5

There were half a dozen nails that weren't packaged as full sleeves and were loosely shipped. All the remaining items were packaged in a Bostitch box. As a result of the packaging, I am not sure whether I received 1000 nails. Although they are of the right length, they are of the wrong.

I like how it works
5/5

Thanks for the purchase. I'm happy with it. This product does what it is supposed to do. Oil it properly or it won't live, and the manual specifies that you should add a few drops each time before you use it. So far, I have not had any problems.

This product was just what I needed for my project. I have seen several unfavorable comments about the product arriving in pieces, but mine was in good condition.
