A few years ago I had an old JD STX30, and I could not find these bolts anywhere. After two wheel replacements, I was unable to find the necessary replacement sleeves, but could find the bolts. The original set had a steel sleeve bushing which ran outside of a regular 3/8" bolt. I was able to find the exact replacement bolts here on Amazon after doing some searching on the Internet. It only took me two days to get them. I really appreciate having my mower running as much as possible, since these bolts are not cheap. Deck wheels that can be replaced In the end, it cost substantially less than purchasing a new machine. After all, for a mower purchased in the mid-'90s, a set of new tires prevented the purchase from being prohibitively expensive. Having owned this mower for over 30 years, I am getting a lot of use out of it. And John Deere guys down at the shop are impressed that it has held up so well. It is my responsibility to ensure that my riding mower is maintained and in good working order.

They did not come as depicted in the picture. Their bolt heads were flat rather than raised, as seen in the picture. Despite the fact that they will work in a pinch, they seem to be of weaker quality than the original Stern wheel bolt that I have previously purchased?.
