What is the thread count per inch?

The bolt I got was a 5/16-inch bolt. It has 18 threads per inch, which is also known as coarse thread.

The hook's ID is what I'm looking for. One inch is all I require. ?

Are there any "U" deminsions within the "U" deminsions?

3/4" on the inside of the "U"

Is this going to work with a 1" pipe?

The U's ID is 3/4" instead of 1".
