The treads on half of the bolts were worn out and useless. I contacted the seller and was promised a replacement, but it never arrived. I contacted them again, and they made an excuse and then went silent.
I needed them because Festool uses this thread for some of its bits and pieces, and I wanted to make some changes. They're perfect for my needs and are at least as good as Festool's own products (though they're a little longer!). ), and I can't think of a project for which they wouldn't be adequate. They're made and finished with a lot of care and precision, and they give you a lot of confidence. They came packaged in an old school cardboard box, which was nice), and they were more inspiring than the stuff I seem to find at the big box stores. I would strongly suggest it.
M6x60mm, not 40mm, is the actual size. But that's fine for my application.
Two cheap threads were easily cross threaded.
Because this was a work-related item, on-time delivery was essential!.
