As I understand your question, you drilled a 5/8" hole for a bolt, so if you are using an anchor, you will need to drill a larger hole Drill a test hole to determine if the drill is accurate. You should be able to use the anchor if the hole fits snugly into it.

They're very strong compared to what I expected. Getting them in is the easy part keeping them out is the difficult part. These seem to be a good fit for bolting something to my basement floor because I need to secure something to the floor.
Very pleased with the work I received and the price was great.
A good anchor should be everything you expect.
Well built.
The incorrect size was shipped and no problems with returning it were encountered.
may find out how to install these anchors by visiting the web site of the company. It would be much better if the shields were used instead.
Apparently, the inspector hadn't liked my description and said that these inferior anchors could not be used. The use of a cellular phone at work was not allowed.
