Questions & Answers

How do you know if this works in ?

The use of our anchors in cement blocks is not recommended.

The purpose is to mount D-type devices on them The rings have two holes that are 3/8" on center and 1 1/2" apart. Are these anchors going to work with the holes that are so ?

In close proximity to each other, you are free to use two asphalt anchors. It appears that the sum total of resistance from two anchors in close proximity is less than the sum of the ratings from the two anchors separately. For the SP10 anchors attached to asphalt 2, they are buried beneath the asphalt. In the case of a 5" thick plywood, the total weight will be 2,100 lbs instead of 3,000. According to the number of layers of asphalt, the force increases inversely with the number of layers.

This fence would need to span about 12 feet between an existing fence and a house. Could these be used for that?

Our SP12 anchors can be used. Asphalt Anchors' website has a simple Fence Calculator which uses its simple wind-resistance formula to determine how much wind it will withstand

Is enough epoxy available at this price to be able to use it more than once?

There are two types of AK-47s There are two bags of grout for four SP10 anchors in the kit 4. One bag can cover three anchors if one is careful about the depth of the hole (6") and the diameter of the hole (78%). In any event, it is better to have dxtra grout than not enough, as an inadequate amount of grout means ordering more grout, which will result in delays.

The instructions about how to use the product are not very clear
4/5

Installing a backup generator and building a pad for it out of pressure treated lumber are my most recent projects. Located on the corner of an asphalt driveway that is slightly sloping, it sits on a corner where asphalt meets concrete. As a result, I bought these anchors to attach the pad to the asphalt (see image). There are no concerns about the anchors themselves because they are very high quality. After reading the online instructions and watching the videos, I was ready to start the project. In my first experience with the app, I encountered these issues 1 .
A sufficient amount of grout is really not available. If you are drilling an anchor hole of the proper size, one bag per two anchors is not enough. The deepest hole I drilled was 6" deep and was drilled with a 7/8" bit in my Bosch hammer drill. In the process of checking to make sure the anchor will fit, it is almost impossible not to ovalize the hole somewhat. The grout I had for the fourth anchor was not enough, so I had to use all 4 anchors. In any case, the generator pad is very small, and two anchors would have been sufficient, so I do not know if the generator will fall. To make sure you have enough grout, it is probably safer to buy the anchors separately and the larger plastic tub (about $17). .
. According to the instructions, stir in 1/2 cup water slowly while the grout bag is filled. However, it turned out to be way too thin, almost Taking this into account, I used an additional 1/4 cup of water to improve the consistency of the mixture after combining both bags. 1. 2. 3. This is a terrible idea to store the grout in the plastic bag supplied with it. There is a chance to make things a mess, and it is difficult to judge The best way to make grout is to place it in a 1 quart plastic container and then add water to blend it until it reaches the desired consistency with a stirrer. Another advantage of using a flexible plastic container is that it is easier to pour grout mix and to get the whole batch of grout into the hole than using a plastic bag.

This is a good result

It seems that these anchors work well after I have used eight of them. Although I recommend waiting a full day after setting them in the grout, I don't see any harm in applying them after that. You will have to pull the anchors out if you use them too soon.

My carport was anchored with these and has not been blown away by winds over 50mph. The interface is straightforward and easy.

I like the way it worked
4/5

I was satisfied with the result. Anchors were used to make a fence and gate over the asphalt driveway of a manufactured home in a mobile home park for seniors. Following the video provided by the manufacturer was all that I needed to do.

Unfortunately, I didn't get these in time, which is why my umbrella ended up being destroyed.

The fabric holder worked great to hold a 10' X 17' piece
5/5

I was able to hold an 11' X 17' fabric covered shelter in place with the device. During the day following their installation and the shelter's completion, there was a wind gust of 45 mph. There was no loosening to be found.

Grout poured over. Decide where the anchor should be. We are in for the long haul.
