Selected User Reviews For Dinkle Assembly Kit DK10N Red/Black 10 Gang with Jumpers DIN Rail Terminal Blocks, 6-20 AWG, 60 Amp, 600 Volt
The combiner box on the roof of my RV will house this terminal block. Internal connections exist between the terminals on opposite sides. You can connect all the red jumpers to each other and all the black jumpers to each other by staggered installation of the jumpers. This block will be where the wires from the solar panels and the MPPT controller come to an end.
I needed a simple, flexible way to connect my portable solar panels to my travel trailer's existing roof-mounted solar system. I wanted to be able to recharge batteries by placing my DIY 200 watt solar suitcase in the sun instead of using a generator when we boondock in a shady spot. This DIN rail terminal block is well designed and constructed to connect easily to my existing system in my trailer's storage compartment, where the solar charge controller is already installed. Shipping was very quick. Also included are links to online tutorials, support, and the ability to ask questions if necessary. Excellent product and excellent customer service.
As important, if not more so, this is an excellent product that is exactly what I needed for my DIY solar project; in fact, I purchased a second kit because it is so good. I didn't want to use (or build) a large combiner box to combine multiple solar inputs into a single output to my MPPT. This kit is highly customizable, incredibly simple to put together, and it works flawlessly. When I needed to add a second MPPT to my system, I knew the Dinkle Assembly Kit (DK10N) was the way to go. I would strongly suggest it. Clayton, thank you so much!.
I didn't have the jumpers for the old style, so I used jump wires, which took up terminals. I love the two colors from the ground to the positive. Even though it has fewer blocks, this new one takes up less space.
For my solar setup, it was perfect. Maintain a neat and orderly environment.
I'm a big fan of the quality. I've already purchased a few sets. Also, I appreciate the handwritten note, which demonstrates that they care about their customers, as opposed to the ineffective email request for a positive review.
It does what it says. The combiner is simple to use and of excellent quality. I would recommend it to everyone.
This makes it simple to distribute power to multiple devices within a project box.
