Yes, the wires will need to be cut. It is not possible to re-use this connector. usable.
UL Approved for copper wire, but not for use with aluminum wire, according to the bag. UL document E5238. It's best to check with your electrical inspector first, as they interpret the code and decide what they'll sign off on. I believe they are far more attractive than screwing a slew of wires to the device or twisting and capping wire.
I'm getting a 100-count box.
The distance between the three holes is almost exactly 1/2 inch from left to right. It's impossible to accurately measure each one.

If you reduced the price by about $5, these would be a better deal. These are excellent products, but Amazon's price is higher than that of a major retailer.
These work well and are much easier to use than wire nuts, but they are less expensive at Home Depot. Sure, having them delivered to your door for free is convenient, but if you need these, you'll most likely be visiting a home improvement store anyway. The product receives five stars, but the price receives only two.
The connectors are extremely simple to use. It appears that they take up less space in the connection box. The cost is reasonable. As expected, Amazon Prime delivery was quick.
For the time being, I'm not going to eat any more wire nuts. These things are incredibly simple to use when it comes to making electrical connections. There's no reason to ever use the screw-down variety again.
For a quick fix, I'd recommend this item, especially if your recessed lighting kit doesn't already have it. installation that is spotless.
Simple to work with. A large number of ports is a significant benefit. These were used to replace an old fluorescent light fixture with an LED light tube. br>It's not so simple to repurpose. When it comes to removing a wire from one, things aren't so simple. There was also no stranding on the wire. br>br>I'll continue to use these, but reusing them isn't as simple as they claim.

The product is excellent. The shipping and packaging are a disaster. The first package arrived as an open, empty envelope, while the second package arrived open, with loose and missing pieces.
