Questions & Answers

If you say they will fill with sealant after heating, do you mean they shrink with adhesive to make the connection water resistant?

Since I did not heat shrink the terminals, I am unable to confirm if they can be heat shrunk. It should provide a watertight connection, however

Can you move the terminals around by pressing them together in that triangle position, or are they fixed (unmovable) in that position?

Their ability to move makes them mobile.

The auto bilge pump could be attached to the boat

These were purchased because I already had a Johnson bilge pump, but wanted to add the auto bilge solution. A new switch called the Ultima was purchased for me. In order to make a 3 way connection, I simply cut the positive hookup wire off the manual pump, stripped the jacket, crimped the two wires on, and then added the auto bilge positive hookup wire to the pump's positive hookup wire. Actually, I only needed one of these, but I now have the ability to provide similar services to everyone.

Connector of good quality

I used these to split lighting circuits on a utility trailer. The connectors were loose enough to rotate each one a little but not loose enough to fall apart. Since the center section is exposed and can cause a short if grounded, I wrapped them with electrical tape instead of heat shrink.

The straps are too There was a lot of looseness in the pivot rivet for my taste

When I was , I encountered a connectivity problem. This is a good quality product. In the past, I have encountered a connectivity problem when the spokes were pushed too This worked for me after I spread out the lines a bit. A simple fix will take care of this isolated issue. This is a product I would order.
