and, although they didn't fit my Klein 3005CR crimper perfectly, I was still able to use them without securing their jaws to the crimper. There is a misalignment between the attachment points and

No, they will not work with Klein Tools 3005CR Crimpers. Pro's Kit QC may have overlooked some dies that the reviewers received that were just out of tolerance and not in compliance with their parameters, so I purchased these dies hoping the other reviewers had received them as well. As for what is actually happening, I believe that the people claiming that these dies fit their 3005CR are instead dealing with holes that are not centered on their 3005CR due to Klein Tools. It is good to put this to rest once and for all, we cannot use these with The reason you would give one star to a product that in the first place didn't claim to fit this crimper in the first place is perplexing. A statement by the "manufacturer" formed the basis for the audit These dies will not fit the Klein crimper, they know that very well already. This company advertises its accessories as fitting most major tool brands, but at a lower price and just as high quality as the brands they compete with. But then it proceeds to make them so they cannot be used with the most popular, most common crimper, a Klein Tools model. The consumer has been misled and has been given one star.
This does not fit the Klein 3005CR, as stated in the Q&A It is located in a different place (and is shaped differently) than the holes in the die through which the screws connect it to the crimper. It would have been easier to register/align the two halves of the crimper if I had drilled them out to be larger. A vise grip was the only thing that worked.
I used the 16-inch model from Amazon A total of 14 flag terminals.
Taking S&P to the next level My goal was to determine if these Eclipse dies will work instead of G dies because the G dies were significantly more expensive. So when I say I held my S & N, I mean that I held my S&N As I positioned the dies up to the image with the Eclipse die on my computer screen, the dies Yes, they do Rather than sliding in, they move firmly (a bit more so than the S&) Similarly, the screw holes are in the same spot as the holes (G dies). My test was on some Molex insulated flag terminals and the crimps are very nice. The only thing I noticed was that they seem to be a bit So that the crimper does not get damaged, you may want to back off and release the ratchet manually before squeezing until the tab is completely tight. They are a good price, but I am not happy with them.
I give this tool five stars due to its fit with my Tool Aid S&S With the included jaws, the G 18900 Professional Ratcheting Terminal Crimper does a great job. It starts with ProKit 300 The Lunar Series Die Set for Insulated Flag Terminals (070) fits directly into my die set and I am sure that what does well for others will be also true for me.
For the first time in my life, I can make flag connections without worrying that the wire will pull out or its insulation will be.
I'm very happy with this product and it does what it says it does.
When used with the Paladin 8000 series crimp tool, this works very well for flag terminals.
