It was a simple and straightforward way to downgrade from a 30amp service to a 15amp service. In addition to changing the breaker on the circuit to 15 amp, I also replaced the switch. 240 volts are supplied to the through wall air conditioners on this circuit. So far, everything seems to be working very well. Problems are not a problem.

Wire doesn't have to be wrapped around the screw because it has great terminal clams. Although it was very heavy duty, I would prefer to have seen it in a white color.

I didn't feel the need to add a loop to the end of the wire and wrap it A firm grip is applied to the plug.
