Questions & Answers

Could I use it to cook Japanese rice in a 1100W rice cooker?

It's fine, nothing to worry about

What kind of rice cooker will this work in?

You won't need a transformer with most Japanese rice cookers for sale in the US, since they are designed for US voltage. Typically, this transformer is used to convert US electricity to Japanese electricity if the rice cooker is made for Japan. A transformer like this should only be used with a rice cooker that runs on Japanese

Could you tell me why there is no express shipping? The prices for both were different, however time estimates for delivery were about the same -- around two weeks or fourteen Would you prefer a less substantial version of this?

My assumption is that the shipment is coming from Japan

There is a Japanese translation of the instructions. Someone please tell me what plug should I use to plug the us 110 v into and which plug does the 100 v come out of? I appreciate it. ?

There's no need to explain it. When you convert US current 110 v to Japanese current 100 v, you are changing voltage from 110 to 100. This stepdown transformer was manufactured in Japan for the purpose of replicating Japanese current in the U.S. If you live in America, you will obviously have to plug the transformer into a US or Canadian wall outlet. This converter has two sockets, one of which will be used for plugging your appliance. You can't plug one plug into another plug, it must go into a socket, which is one of the two sockets on it.

From a Japanese product I expected better quality control and innovation
3/5

I was disappointed by the condition of the product when it arrived. A drop in the ball seems to have taken place. The fault doesn't lie with Amazon as the outer box that it was packed in was perfect. However, the outer box that the manufacturer was packing it in looked pretty ragged as though it had been knocked around by the In light of the fact that my wife had been waiting for a long time to be able to use her Japanese microwave, I decided not to return it and instead, fix it. The transformers I bought in Japan from the same manufacturer are really good and I like them a lot. In comparison with other black boxes I've bought out of China, these are much smaller, and they also don't produce the irritating throbbing hum like those boxes. It is estimated that they are around 30 years old These devices are 50% more expensive as well, and do not come with plugs. To connect a grounding wire between the transformer and the outlet, and also ground the appliance, first you have to connect the transformer to that grounding wire. My rating would be five stars if (1) the packaging could be improved, and (2) the outlets and cord could be Make the product compatible for North American buyers! The manufacturer should know that North Americans are the only ones who buy this! It would be better (3) if it had rubber feet to prevent scratching the countertop (I put sticky chair pads on mine), and (4) if it were more reasonably-priced.

A transformer DOES make a difference in the audio quality
5/5

With our Balmuda Toaster here in the US, we have never been able to use the transformer and the heat setting (toast icon) as well as the time setting (1 = 1 minute) have always resulted in the toast being slightly burnt. As Japanese people, we've used similar toasters and know they're not supposed to produce the type of toast that we see here. In other reviews, other reviewers have noted that with standard 120V outlets the heating elements in the toaster run a bit hot, and apparently that leads to burned toast as well as a shorter lifespan. Our toaster started to fail, so we purchased a NISSYO step down transformer, and the toaster is now working perfectly. Using the lowest temperature setting (toast icon) and most basic time setting (1 = 1 minute) will result in only a slight toast on the bread slice. As written in the instructions (Page 7 of the instruction manual), this makes sense since a non-traveler shall not be charged for travel with a ticket. With a frozen slice of bread, it would be best to eat it after 2 hours. A 3 to 5 ratio. A 3 to 5 ratio. In spite of the PDF instructions being in Japanese, you can copy/paste them to an online translator such as Google Translate and you can get a relatively good translation, though not perfect. Lastly, we are also using the Balmuda Kettle (also made for 100v outlets like those found in Japan), so our kettle is connected to the second outlet on the transformer. In this house we do not use the toaster and kettle at the same time, since they both run on more power and the transformer cannot handle it.

We are a small, stable company

The Pioneer U-5000 has a multi-channel AD/Ac (which can interface with the HA5000) From Japan was number 05). After one month I have not experienced any problems with the product. In comparison to my previous transformer, this one has two 100v inputs, a smaller footprint, and a longer power cord. My only complaint is that there is no power switch and that it remains slightly warm when In the event that anything were to go wrong, I will update this review, but for now it serves me well, and I recommend it to those of us who like using.

Outlets on the top of the wall state 100, while outlets on the bottom indicate I found this step down converter to be very useful
5/5

There's enough power in it to make it useful and small enough to fit in tight areas. By doing this, the power in the USA is taken up to 100v, which prevents items from receiving 20% more power than they were designed There are some electronics and cook wear that are only compatible with 100v (read this as coming from Japan). I would like to discuss about This is 1. When not in use, this device draws a lot of energy from the wall. I suggest using a switch on the outlet to avoid it from drawing energy. You can hear it in the hum. 1. 2. I destroyed the box the product comes in. I mean it. A flimsy internal box came with it, and as a result, the ribbons tore. However, the unit was a bit knocked around as it was being transported. While the unit is a beast, packing peanuts or bubble wrap would be helpful.
3. Neither a ground cable nor a ground connection is present. We may not be aware that we offer these at all of our outlets to the Japanese. 4* Each a. The feet do not exist. 5
Units of this type are industrial in nature. This can be determined by the color. The sixth point. So long as it cooperates with my kotatsu, this is enough.

I'm very pleased with it
5/5

This toaster is designed to be used with a fancy Mitsubishi Japanese toaster in the USA that must run on 100v. Everything about it is top-notch and it is not cheap. Honestly, it looks and feels like a piece of old school hardware from the Cold War. I am fairly certain it will outlive everything in my While the other ones I looked at were cheaper, they had bad reviews because of build quality and not being able to deliver the rated power.

This rice cooker has proven to be stable and works well
5/5

This is G102. I brought over DA) had been running it straight on 120V for several months without a transformer, so I had no apparent problems, but I started worrying about it after moving and did buy I have been using it for 6 months without any problems. As a result of the metal around the mounting holes being malleable, they may arrive bent, but can easily be bent into position again. My personal opinion is that the issue does not really arise from that. The fact that I don't actually have a place where it can be mounted in a horizontal position makes me unsure how well it might hold in that position.

I love it! There are a lot of high quality transformers/converters here
5/5

There are only a few things on it Five by four. Five times three. This is "5". Normally, I would mount it to the wall, but it can be placed on the floor. This item has been purchased to use with my Japanese Panasonic SD-card The BMT1001 is I bought the T bread machine from Japan. It took a few days to arrive, but customer service was excellent.

The size is small, but the quality is top-notch
5/5

The fact that I came across this is awesome! It is a Japan brand and Whenever I buy Japanese products, I can trust them. The Panasonic BMT-V60 is what I use with this One of the machines in my kitchen is my 1001 bread maker and one is my Tiger pressure The 2 products in this picture are both electronic devices from Japan, with a 100V output. There is a limit of 1500W on this transformer, so I didn't use my bread machine (430W) and rice cooker (1200W) at the same time. You would need a transformer equivalent to at least 1700W if you wanted to use both of these machines. Last but not least, get your phone ready since the manual is in Japanese, you'll need to use.
