Selected User Reviews For Jonard Tools RDT-18K Telescoping Pole, 18'
This item is of such poor quality that it could not have been produced for less than a dollar. It's ridiculously expensive at $110. I'm not going to buy any more Jonard products because they made a lot of money off of me. Although mine came with two accessory tips, some customers complained that they were missing in their reviews. Every part used to make this item, from the strap to the little pieces that hold the strap on, the "aluminum" end pieces on both ends, to the foam "cork" that keeps the poles from sliding out, is of such poor quality that I'm afraid to use it because I'm afraid it will fall apart and I'll lose the tips inside. Everything is made of low-quality materials and has a cheap appearance. The smell of spray paint catches you off guard as you extend the poles. Here you won't find a high-quality powder coat paint finish. The extension poles have scratches and blemishes all over them, which isn't a big deal because I'll probably put them there myself after a few uses, but it's concerning to see this on a "new" product I just bought. When fully extended, the pole is lightweight, and the interchangeable tips are a nice feature. I think the "K" tip will come in handy. I'm likely to keep this item because the various tips suit my needs, but the Greenlee version is the better option if you want quality. That one is also in my possession, and it is far superior in quality.
There were no hooks included. I'm worried I got a fake because the product doesn't look like the one in the picture. For a Jonard product, the quality appears to be a little off; I'll keep this review up until I receive a proper replacement.
This is a fantastic tool.
Exactly as stated in the description It would be nice if it could be used in a less-than-completed state.
Several times, Works Well has rescued me from a tense crawl.
The product has a nice rugged feel to it, and the carrying strap is extremely useful. I was hesitant to purchase because of the cost, but it is well worth the money. Once again, another high-quality Jonard product!.
False advertising was used to promote the product. Attachments 1 and 2 are missing.
