Howdy! This cord was purchased to replace the stock plug on my Sony 900H. Super- Because my plugs are pressed against the TV due to the low profile mounting bracket, I figured this would be a good preventative measure. It's the same connection, same wire gauge, just a 90 degree socket/plug on both ends. The two-prong socket in the back of the TV, on the other hand, does not feel as secure as the factory's. The socket on this cord is a little longer (deeper socket) than the factory plug, so there's some wiggle even when fully pressed into the TV housing, which I don't like. The TV was a week old when I bought this plug, and it has now restarted 4 times with a loud audio tone. I can't say this is a plug issue because both the TV and the plug are brand new. It's only happened four times, and it's been over three weeks since the last time. It could have been the television, or it could have been the city's power. In either case, the plug fits, but it doesn't feel as secure as the original. I'm not sure what sheerness refers to, but it's a great deal for the money. As a result, I'm assuming it's for socket compatibility.

) Samsung TV, which I purchased as a replacement due to the fact that it is a foot longer than the Samsung supplied cord, which is more convenient for me. It works fine in general, but the connection to the television is *extremely* fragile. Because, well, I also have a 2018 Samsung in my living room, AND THE FACTORY CORD HAS THE SAME PROBLEM, I'm not docking more than one star for that. The factory cord literally comes loose every time I breathe on it, which is exactly what this cord does. So, as of today, it's about as good as a factory cord, but be aware that if you look at it incorrectly, it may/will come loose.

My Samsung TV's sound would stop working after a few days of watching cable. I replaced all of the cables except the power cord, which I purchased and which worked flawlessly for a month. Yesterday, the sound went out, and I couldn't get it back, despite the fact that unplugging and replugging usually works —- This time it wasn't the case; I switched back to the OEM cord, and everything started working again.

Three of these were purchased by me: two for rear Samsung Dolby Atmos Speakers and one for a 65" Samsung 4K HDR TV They all use the same power supply, which worked flawlessly with the TV but caused me problems with the Rear Speakers. So I can confirm that it works on the TV, but not on the speakers for some reason! Regardless, this is a good buy because Samsung does not provide long power cord supplies, so this gives you a lot of options.

Microcenter sold me an "Open Box" Samsung Q90 TV. It was a good buy, but they replaced the remote with a generic one and the power cord with a generic one. I'm irritated by the remote, but it's not a big deal as long as I can use the generic to turn it on and change channels. The issue is that modern Samsung televisions require a 90-degree plug due to the design of the power socket cutout on the back. I could fit a regular cord in there, but it was bent due to the 90 degree cutout and could've potentially damaged the TV; this appeared to be the exact style needed, fit perfectly, and provided me with peace of mind.

My family and I just moved. The cords were under my control. So, I misplaced my son's cable for the TV in his room, which meant no YouTube or PlayStation 4 for him. This cord, without a doubt, saved his Samsung TV's life. Awesome. There was no need for panic.

We couldn't find our TV cable while moving, so we ordered this one, which arrived quickly and works flawlessly. Why pay Samsung prices and wait for long delivery times when you can get it primed for a lower price?.
