This is an Ac110-only product. A 120v power cable is required. DC current is used in laptops. They usually come with a power converter that converts AC to DC. The black box is what you're looking for. Only certain TVs, radios, and soundbars would be compatible with this cable. Without the use of a converter, they all accept a straight AC current. So, no, it's not going to work.
They are, in fact, black.
It will, in fact. It's the non-profit organization. The printer requires a polarized figure 8 design, so that's what I did.
It isn't rated in that manner.

That's what I'm saying. I'm overjoyed beyond words! I plugged this cord in, and it not only worked, but it also looked great! It had an effect. Modern science has produced a true marvel. Who knows what they'll come up with next. Why, I bet they'll make electrical stuff so fancy one day that you won't even need a cord! Yee haw, this thing is amazing. And then there's the black! Stunning! PLUS, I only needed one, but ordering two was the only way I could get it. So now I'm in possession of a spare! I'm hoping I'll be able to find it in fifty years when this one fails.
It fits perfectly in my Lenovo Thinkpad W530 laptop's ungodly large and short-corded brick. Hopefully (and I have high hopes. ) ) the 10- In this Cable Matters 2-, there are foot cords. Each pack will outlast the two no-names I purchased on eBay in 2014. One of them lived for about 21 months and the other for about 12 months before dying. br>br>However, come on, Amazon (or Cable Matters, if you're being responsible). Even after an earlier reviewer pointed this out, the listing still claims that the product is 10 amps, when it actually isn't. as you can see when you zoom in on one of the photos - Actually, the number is seven. 7 is fine for me (it's the same as my OEM cord), but it might matter to someone else. Why, after all, should the listing not be correct?.
If you need a longer cable than what you got, you can use these for many devices. piece system with a cable that plugs into the wall and goes to the power supply, and the power supply with attached cable to the device These are two prong and have "figure 8" jacks on them. There are also flat-sided (polarized) and three-sided (less common) styles. prong for grounded applications, so make sure you know which one yours needs. I like to keep a supply of extras of various lengths on hand. br>br>These cables are excellent, and the Cable Matters brand is one I always trust.
I've never been let down by Cable Matters! There's nothing wrong with this place. Two nice, long, TIGHTLY FITTING cords are all you need! I only needed ONE, but at this price, I couldn't say no. It was purchased for my large LED TV, which is mounted on a rolling stand with two vertical tubes with holes for cable management. Even the original cable was easily removed from the TV socket. This one is a tight fit and will not easily fall out or be pulled out, but it is relatively simple to remove and plug in. The original power cord was simply far too short to be practical. This cable runs all the way down to the bottom of the stand and out to whatever plug is required, eliminating the need for an extension cord! (We move the TV around the house as needed!).
There is a serious lack of quality control. br>br>Both female ends of the cords I received fit snugly and without difficulty into their intended targets. It's the male ends that are causing the problem. The first one I tried just falls out of any outlet I try to plug it into. I'm even talking about outlets that are frequently too tight to connect with any other plug I've ever had, or that require a firm shove to connect. The second one I tried clings to whatever it is plugged into. Because I plan to plug this cord into a power bar with possibly other items plugged in, the risk of this cord's plug becoming loose and sparking another connection is a risk I'm not willing to take. br>br>I've purchased a few Cable matters products in the past, and I did so again in this case because they appeared to be of reasonable overall quality. I'm not sure if I got a bad product or just got lucky in the past, but I'm not sure I'll buy anything from this company again.
Everything I've reviewed today wanted me to rate "thickness," and Amazon wanted me to rate "sheerness. " In the review department at Amazon, it appears that a size queen is employed. br>br>I required standard figure 8 electronics electrical cables, which I received. br>Finally, a big thumbs up. br>They're exactly what you'd expect from a cheap standard figure 8 electronics electrical cable order. Because the original cable became kinked and developed a short, I had to replace it with an Anker USB charging block, which I've been using for several weeks and which is performing as expected.
My office manager informed me that extension cords are not "allowed" in our building for any purpose. This wasn't going to work because I had a couple of video cameras with ridiculously short 3 foot power cords. br>br>These were an exact match to the original power cord, with the exception of being 15 feet long, so my cameras are no longer tethered to the wall by a too-short power cord. Even if extension cords are permitted, these are a neater and more attractive alternative. br>br>I would recommend them even if extension cords are permitted.
However, this type of plug can be found in a wide range of household electronics. This is, in any case, an excellent plug. It performs as expected and is the specified length. If I needed it again, I would purchase it.
