I guess I didn't notice the length of the cord and it didn't fit my needs because it was too short. As a result, it was a waste of money for me. But I'm the one to blame. The product performed as expected and was exactly as advertised.

My television in my bedroom went out of service unexpectedly. I ordered a new one, but was told it would take 15 days to arrive; I had an old Sony on hand, but the power cord was missing. I realized I should check Amazon for a replacement cord, which I did. It was delivered in two days and worked perfectly. I was able to work around the fact that the cord was a little short.
