There are only 3 vents in my master bedroom, which is enormous. Although I was able to determine that the problem originated from a lack of ventilation in that room at least, I could pinpoint the cause of that. My options were to get a pro to cut through the duct and add one or two vents, or to use a fan booster. I didn't want to do it myself, so I decided to hire a professional (I'm not that handy). Trying this out once was a no brainer for me. And I am quite happy that I did. I have solved the problem! In the end, I bought this one from Suncourt along with another one. I was initially hesitant to buy this one due to the small opening, but these two aren't even comparable. It moves a great deal of air and is much quieter than the previous one. My regular vent cover and the Suncourt booster produced about the same amount of sound, but the Suncourt is considerably louder. The product is highly recommended, but why does Home Depot not carry it is a mystery to me. One of its cons is the heavy duty electrical cord, which is bulky and thick. It would have been nice if it had been skinnier.

It is a good unit, but they need to do a better job of quality control when it is assembled. I noticed that something was rattling around in the unit prior to installing. The four screws were removed to open it, and I discovered that one of the wire nuts/crimps was not attached to In truth, it is likely that I would have been shocked if I had connected the unit. Apparently, the wire was missed when they crimped, allowing it to fall out. In order to keep my home office cool, I have installed it after correcting the issue. It appears to work well, so hopefully it will help keep my central air conditioner running efficiently.

That only exacerbated the problem. A couple of months ago, we bought this product. As our 2-year-old moves into her big girl room, I moved her into her room while we prepare for the birth of Buying this booster helped warm up the room that was very cold, but it wasn't warming up as we thought it should. Taking advantage of the air conditioning in the evening was not a significant issue. The room got very warm over the summer, but cooled down in the evening. I'm looking forward to nights with 20 degrees. And the temperature in the daughter's bedroom is way too low. The other night, we set up a room thermometer in her bedroom. By the next morning, the temperature had risen to 57 degrees. There is no way that can be justified. They came out to look at it after we called our HVAC company. I'm not sure the measurements they took, but the air coming through the vent was measured at 10 (I was not there), but it did not appear to be abnormal. When the booster was taken off, the test was done As it showed 29, it was As the case may be. It is always better to be higher. Thus, this product is literally accomplishing the exact opposite of what it was intended for. This has disappointed me greatly.

It used to be that I lived in a two-story remote cabin heated by propane. It was too busy to keep that fireplace going so I swapped it for one with a wood burner. When the doors are closed, the layout of the house and staircase makes it difficult for the air to circulate on the 2nd floor, especially in the bedrooms. Since there were few tests performed last season, I wasn't sure what impact it would have and if it would make an impact. *BR>JUST AS WELL! As of this season, I have been able to confirm that this device will draw heat from the first floor and will heat more than 600SQFT in less than 15 minutes. So, I will buy 2 more units, one for the master bedroom, and one for the guest room. In addition to not having to use electric heaters in the bedrooms or leave doors open, we will be able to heat the entire 2nd floor as well as the first. I was skeptical at first, but this season, I am convinced that this unit does contribute to air circulation. I have no problems with it and it does the job for me whether I want cool air or hot air. My only caveat is that initially I thought the hot air flowing over the fan blades cooled the air too much - it does cool the air a bit to a certain degree, but overall, it gets the hot air upstairs and I am now enjoying it. I can get 600 sq ft in 15 minutes. As a result, the temperature on the 2nd floor remained the same Yes, I am fine with that.

Please take note If you are installing this type of ventilation in a room with a door that separates it from the rest of the house, be sure that you have a properly functioning return air system. It is usually insufficient for this purpose to have a gap under the door. It would be advantageous to include a through vent between the room and the return air duct location in order to remove any pressure differential, and allow for proper airflow.

Its size should not fool you this fan was installed on the farthest end of the room from the air conditioner's blower to ensure maximum efficiency. There was a constant temperature of high 80s in the room. Cool air was coming out of the floor vent very little. Ten degrees were cooled off in the room following the installation of this fan. As the cool air was blown from one end of the room to the other, I could feel it all the way through. Unlike many air duct cleaners, it does not make any noise. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to pull out extra air from the Only improvement would be if this company made an adapter plate for its own product because the fan unit is shorter than the vent opening of my 12" home.

There are many register booster fans on the market, but I looked for the best. A few years ago, the one I used for years stopped working so I had to get a new one. Throughout the day, this thing was running continuously. I still don't like it when a fan blows in front of me. At 3pm in the upstairs bedroom, it was already 79 degrees, and it's still 79 degrees in there 7 hours later despite the AC set at 70 degrees. Returning to the United States.
