Can you tell me if the output is ground or plus?

There are no devices that latch on to each other. These aren't latching Hall Effect switches made by the company, but they do make latching Hall Effect switches. Similar to reed switches, these work in a similar manner.

What is the latching mechanism like on these latches? Is there a polar hall effect sensor? Could you please provide them with a data sheet?

My fanny pack hasn't been put to use, so I am not sure if it latches. There is a datasheet online for this part number. You can find it by searching for it online.

The device does not protect against reverse polarity. I killed one of them by powering it backward, but found that the rest of them all worked after that. The third version. Working below 2 caused them to stop. A volt of 8 is required.

I got good results with 10k and 100k pullup resistors. My supplies are normally clean enough that I did not see the need for a filter capacitor. It is important to pay attention to the field direction! You can try the magnet on the other side if you cannot trigger it with the magnet on one side. The thin, magnetic sheet used on most fridge magnets was not strong enough to trigger these switches at 3 o'clock either. There are 2 power options 3V and 5V. Magnets of a stronger strength worked well.

Packaging was as follows It is packaged in a zip lock plastic bag, enveloped in foam, and wrapped in yellowing cellophane. The static in the signal was a concern, but they appeared to be fine.

I like it a lot! As of yet, there are only two that I have tested and they work exceedingly Having installed a ceramic magnet in my front door, and with this sensor being about 0,5 inches from my front door, it always triggers

In this case too, there was no "mm" size on the pins so again I assumed they were big enough for There is no way I can work with these without tweezers. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
