Is it possible to use this with a microprocessor's pwm signal?

I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. All you have to do now is make sure you're using the right voltage. I used it to fix the variable speed foot pedal on a sewing machine.

These were fine and arrived quickly, but they were not labeled completely. The specifications were missing, and they appeared to be the same size as others, so you'll have to label them yourself to know what size they are and how they fit.
