My apologies, but this AC seems to be interrupted In terms of the input voltage, we only have 120 VAC at 60 Hz available.

Currently, I am not comfortable handling transformers and I do not trust myself yet with wiring of that nature. In time, I hope to overcome that once I'm not living in an apartment and have a house of my own. Hopefully you see what I'm trying to say. Having the transformer mounted in a wall wart was the best compromise. I can use this to prototype until the modular synth is ready to be built. I will continue. I was surprised to see that it appears to have been packed into a box when it arrived. An unsightly bend was visible in the wire. As it is a jameco requirement, I chose to purchase this on Amazon since I did not have the money to purchase the 20usd of stuff. I will continue. There is good news in that it works. The multimeter is showing 14vac, but doing so without a load might just be due to no load being applied. Before I could afford a bench top power supply, DC wall warts were what I used. There will be a small voltage difference between the voltage written on the block plug and what is claimed on the wall wart. Although the (+2v) seems a bit high to me, but this is only my 2nd AC to AC wall wart. I will update my review if I encounter any difficulties. Overall, this would be a good prototyping technique.
For my first laptop, I found this 120v AC to 12v AC adapter just what I needed. This is not a 120v AC to 12v DC converter - this is just an AC to AC stepdown transformer. It has a 6A or 1600 mA adapter whose wall connection pins got pushed inside.
I was looking for one in 12 volt AC, to supply one, since there are many 120 volt to 12 volt DC converters around. The current draw is 5 A. seemed to be the only one I could find and it seems to be working well.
I love it!.
I love it.
It works the way it should,.
The pump I purchased for my Watchdog basement pump system is an excellent replacement.
