Despite the "scratchy spots," the process has been straightforward and smooth. I was able to remove it with some pliers, however

I needed to dim down some LED lights over the cabinet, and this was perfect for the job. Please verify that the load is appropriate before proceeding. I had one problem, but I easily removed it with some pliers. Ceramic had covered one of the terminals, but it was easy to remove.

Originally, I had an Ohmite rheostat, and I had hoped that this Amico would do the same, however, it does not work the way the Ohmite did

The fan is used to control the heater on a wood stove. Isn't effective since it allows the fan to run much too fast. It will not run in slow mode. In the past, I had rheostats made by Ohmite, and I was hoping that the Amico would perform the same as the Ohmite. There is no airflow at all through the fan.
