I don't think it will be the case. Controlling the volume of sound is done with this. The light needs to be dimmed. It is also important to ensure the LED bulb is compatible with the dimmer.
Having tested it, I found it to be accurate. The range is as listed, it tested out to be 0 ohms as far as ohms went
You can count on me to provide you with any information you need. The devices are the miniature type and came with all the necessary hardware, so they are definitely of high quality. There are no current limitations as far as I can recall. It is not a wirewound type of device. The circuit boards were made by using a wiper to wipe a carbon-based alloy directly on to a fiber-based Based on the standard specs, I believe they are following them. About 500ma can be drawn from them. I would recommend adding a heatsink to the device in order to run higher current. The thing to keep in mind is to question reliability if the device is overloaded. If higher current is needed, I would suggest sourcing a wirewound type of potentiometer. Thanks for reading, and best of luck to you

The devices I received (5/21/2020) immediately started to smoke when I connected them following the cable color from the potentiometer. In this situation, the ground (black) and signal (yellow) cables are reversed.
I used them to adjust HSV values for a home lighting DIY project. This product looks nice and clean, and the preinstalled knobs are impressive It is easy to lay out circuits with soldered wires.
The wires come with plastic ports on the ends. In my opinion it is two stars if you use that port, but if you strip the wires like I do for Arduino work etc. the inner wires are very thin and frail, making it difficult to work with them
I give it a 2. 5 star rating. A 75-star rating is given for doing the job but being a bit.
The potentiometers I've been using historically have been from Radio Shack. This is a manly size pot. When I got it, I laughed out loud. I couldn't believe how small they were. It would be useful to put a penny next to each one in the future to make it easier to read. Having been raised in the States, I have little understanding of mm and cm. They are still tiny to me, which makes me laugh.
There is a dead spot right in the middle of one of my pots. That kind of stinks, but for the price I'd say it's still ok to get 2/3 of the way there. It didn't matter how many I had, I only needed two.
A wiring switch enables the signal (yellow) and ground (black) wires to work together. The review said this, but I ignored it because there are a lot of positive reviews. The moment I connected the Arduino nano, I started to smell burning electrical and although I did get a signal, I found that the nano eventually turned out to be dead.
Having the leads attached let's them fit in small places. Not too big or too small, truly ideal for my project. We received the package in excellent condition, and it was delivered early as well. You've done a good job!.
