These resistors are packaged in something similar to a photo album, and I really like that. In the pictures, there are small zip bags full of resistors, clearly labeled, on each page. It takes some finesse to pull the zip bags out as they fit snugly inside the little pockets, so you don't bend the resistor leads too much while pulling them out. There was a review I had read that pointed out how thin the leads were on these resistors. As far as I can tell, they are The diameter of the beads is 0135 inches, which equals a gauge between 27 and 28. It is a problem with the thin leads that they may not be stiff enough to easily fit into the breadboard holes if you use them with a breadboard. It is reasonable to assume these thin leads won't make very good contact with the breadboard if it has been used repeatedly. They are fine to solder into a circuit board, however. The fact that they are 1/4 watt is not up for debate. In my experience, the 1/4 watt resistor part I tested seem to be the same as other 1/4 watt resistors that I have tested in the past. I measured them and they seem to be within.
A new strategy for the I am absolutely thrilled with this item! In the course of working on a project the other day, I needed to build a resistor network. As soon as I looked at the card stock page, I determined which resistors were available. I used the designs to create my network, before quickly flipping the pages to retrieve the necessary resistors which were arranged by increasing resistance values. The 10-pin breadboard shows my circuit after it has been designed and breadboarded An A, B and C Taking a count of D converters for a test, we found it was only 1 count off the theoretically The only complaint I have is that the wire leads are extremely thin, and because of that I question whether they are actually 1/4 W as advertised or if they are maybe Since the leads of the resistors are so thin, I had to use long nose pliers to insert them into the breadboard without the leads crumpling.
With no chance of getting them confused, the package has a flip-top function that lets you turn the value you want. The values are very nice, as most assortments give you a lot of intermediate values you won't use, so they just get in the way and confuse the whole thing. Really, E6 (multiples of 1, 1) is the best answer. I, 2, 5, 3. In 2, 3 or 4. The following examples show how. In 7 and 6, respectively. These eight items are all that you need, and this kit has all of them. A little bit of E12 is added in the middle. In an ideal world, I'd like 30pcs E6 and maybe 10pcs E12, but this is as close as I can get. As an addition, I ordered the REXQualis resistor kit to round out this one. This kit was the result of someone having a brainwave when putting it together.
In this collection of resistors, I can find values that I have not seen on similar kits on Amazon (such as 150k). In addition, the packaging is very useful, as the resistors are arranged in a flip book that makes finding the one you are looking for Adding it to the overall cost of the kit is sure to add to the cost, but, at *1. If you are only paying 5 cents per resistor, it is well worth it.
Most of the electronic parts are surprisingly cheap, and I was thinking what a nice project my grandchildren could build in science class to learn about electronics. In order to maximize efficiency, it is important to match the resistor colors, in addition to understanding mathematical equations, to use the formula wheel for computations. It was a great package and perfect for travel. I also received a thumbs up from my Bobtail Minx Calico Cat, who fell in love with the box and loves it now. As I will be returning to replenish my stock, I am bound to return. Have a wonderful day, and thank you for your time.
With this book you'll keep track of everything resistors It would be great if you did. It is a bit smaller than the plastic bags that the resistors are in, but not small enough that the resistors are difficult to get in and out of. I would like to see a few empty pages and some extra bags for the values the kit doesn't contain. In addition, I would prefer to download a label template.
This clever idea of using a binder and sleeves of pouches is brilliant. This is better than the traditional method of sorting resistors into 'bins', since 61 bins would be needed, each of which would be rarely full, to sort these 1095 resistors. Several dozen 10-inch resistors fit quite well in the pouches, so I was able to put all of my previously acquired resistors inside them The pouches must then be inserted with the tabs (resistor tabs).
This product is a wonderful solution to keep resistor values organized so you can find the value you need quickly and easily. Having all those pockets would make it easier to add more resistor values. Excellent value. I wish I could purchase more of the plastic pages with pockets.
