Also, the shipping is super fast. The only thing I wish I'd discovered these sooner is that I wish I had. Since my early days in the craft, I have used crimp connections and soldered and shrink wrapped by hand. Whenever I solder a small component, the crimps usually fail and you have to have other tools attached to it, such as wire holders, etc. This is a pain in the backside. It's a breeze to wire anything with these. Since I had a small butane torch in my pocket, I simply cut and stripped the wires and pressed them into the connectors, then started using my torch to seal it. It took a couple of seconds for each connection to be made.
I think we will be buying more of these.
Nothing to complain about. Whether repairing older electronics or building gadgets, these tools are perfect for my needs. Only thing I am not happy about, if you want to call it that, is how tightly the contents fill the case. It would have been nice if you could give me a little more room so I can consolidate some other spare resistors from my junk drawer. Maybe I was asking too much, but there's not a lot of space for that.
The description of these said they would work on tube amps, but there are about half of the values that will not be valid on my amp. However, when I got the box, it was vacuum sealed and everything was clearly labelled and even came in a separate Just to be clear it was my fault for not reading some of the values they were listed clearly in the auction. I did not read it. There is nothing I don't like about this purchase. I will see if I can find more values in my range to build amplifiers and buy again.
The kit and seller are awesome, but a slightly larger container would be nice. I can put the contents back in the box, but it is a little tedious. Shipment was very quick and they were in great shape when they arrived. My satisfaction with the product is 100%, and I will be pleased to purchase it.
The resistance values work as expected with these. The connectors have a case and are easy to solder. Upon opening the case, the micro resistors are neatly packaged from the factory, which means they will never fit back inside. The case is almost useless once the micro resistors are opened. An alternative storage option could be to seal the bags after use.
The sensors work just like they say they do and have become a huge part of my hobby with electronics. As of yet, I haven't encountered any issues with them.
I like the stuff, but I wish the labels were better.
Packaging is professionally done, organized, and delivers a lot for your money. It's hard to not like it, is there?.
