I chose this SMD resistor and capacitor I was pleased to see that it was exactly what was shown in the pictures when I received it. In addition, all the strips are in preproduction, and the parts are fully loaded into the book Each pocket has a label. Using the pop-out feature, I popped out the ones I needed and continued to work. I love it! These books are vitally important to anyone who works with custom SMD prototyping.
My recent purchase of 0603 sample kits from Mouser & Company was great I ordered from Digikey, but I needed an extra capacitor and a few other components Please provide the resistor values as soon as possible. In a moment of whimsy, I went to Amazon and searched for packages of SMD components. When I first saw the VxW kit, it only cost half of what I typically pay for component kits from the larger electronics distributors. In a sense, it was too low a price to be believable, but a low enough price to assure nothing was lost. As I said at the beginning, I have to admit that I am very impressed by the sample book format. The samples appear to be nicely grouped, nicely labeled, and the packaging looks nice. A component kit has been reset in my view of what a component kit can I am looking through some of their other offerings as I write this to see if they offer any other surprises.
When prototyping and debugging, it is extremely useful to have a wide array of values for resistors and capacitors. Since I used 1206 size components in previous projects, this gave me a great selection of 0805 size components for my current design. I especially appreciate the labeled compartments that save endless time finding the correct capacitor value and give a place to store the parts when you are done with them.
