Both the Arduino Mega2560 and the Arduino Due can be used to test this LCD
3/5

If you bought this TFT LCD for an Arduino project and are having trouble testing/using it, simply follow the steps below:br>br>(1) In the Arduino IDE, go to "Tools" and select "Library Manager"br>(2) When the Library Manager window appears, search the keyword "MCUFRIEND"br>(3) The IDE should then narrow down to the library "MCUFRIEND_kbv"br>(4) Click on the "Install" button, and the This belongs to the "File-" category. Examples- > MCUFRIEND_kbv is a kbv file created by MCUFRIEND. > graphictest_kbv"br>br>I put two TFT LCDs to the test; Elegoo's "8" and this one's "3" 5" from FTVOGUE, and put them through their paces on an Arduino Mega2560 and an Arduino Due. Each of the four options is viable. By the way, when compared to Mega (36. The Due (4. 89 sec) and the Due (4. 89 sec) are two of the most popular video games in the world. (82 seconds) is "REALLY" quick. br>br>BTW, this TFT LCD uses the driver IC "ILI9486" according to the test code. br>br>I hope this information is useful. br>br>It's been two days since the last update. I change to 1 star (there isn't a 0 star). )br>br>After allowing the Arduino DUE to run the MCUFRIEND graphic test on this LCD for two days, the screen is now completely blank. I assumed something was wrong with my Arduino DUE, so I replaced this 3. Elegoo 2 has a 5" LCD. The Elegoo 2 and an 8-inch LCD The 8" just works perfectly. br>br>However, with only a 48-hour battery life, the quality of this LCD is unacceptable for the price of $20.

The room is a good size, but it is dimly lit
3/5

MCUFRIEND_kbv is what you want to use. The best part about this display is that the MCUFRIEND_kbv libraries are mentioned in the reviews. Both the Mega and the Due are well-suited to the examples provided. Elegoo number two The MCUFRIEND_kbv libraries work fine with the 8" screen because it is much brighter. So, if you're working in low light, this 3. For you, a 5" display could be ideal. However, if you, like me, keep the lights on, the brighter, but smaller, 2, may be preferable. Elegoo's 8" screen. It would be far better if the brightness of the displays were mentioned in the screen/display listings. This appears to be measured in "nits," which are candelas per square meter if you're curious. And nits are far superior to lumens in terms of display brightness. The total light output is measured in lumens, whereas the light output per square unit of area is measured in nits. So there you have it. The number of lumens on a 5" display may be the same as on a 2. Elegoo TFT display (8"), but because the smaller Elegoo display has a smaller area and "looks" brighter to my eyes, the Elegoo clearly has more nits.

With the MCUFRIEND_kbv driver, it works perfectly
5/5

Ignore the negative reviews that claim this product does not work. It's as simple as using the MCUFRIEND_kbv driver, which works right away.

Despite my best efforts, I was unable to find work
3/5

On my arduno mega 2560, I tried for weeks using a variety of code from various groups (it came with no cd or information on what code would work), but I could never find one that did more than light the back panel illumination. I bought a different brand panel and it worked right away, so it wasn't my Mega that was broken. If the code could be found, the small amount of documentation with this panel would lead me to believe it was for a UNO with different pin outs. There might be some code that makes it work, but there was no documentation or cd provided.

Don't bother if you aren't an expert
3/5

It appears to work, but I have no way of knowing because there are no links to any test sketches or required libraries. br>After two months of research, all I've come up with is frustration. br>I'll be happy if it works out in the end. To be honest, it appears to be well-made.

Excellent value for money
5/5

The Arduino Uno and Mega2560 are both compatible with this screen. The colors on this display are extremely vibrant. This display has a lot of overall value. As a result, I bought five of them to use in my projects. This display is currently being used in my Indoor Garden. It has been running flawlessly for several months, displaying temperature and humidity both inside and outside the grow tent. In addition, I can see how much Soul Moisture my plants have and when the water pump is on or off.

The quality and durability are both very poor
3/5

Someone needs to fix the product description; I'm not sure why they aren't being completely honest. UTouch is no longer supported, and UrTouch is incompatible; however, UTFTGLUE and MCUFRIEND_kbh are the closest alternatives. br>However, it makes no difference because the tft I bought has a ghosting problem after only 5 hours of use. Make a U-turn if you were drawn in by the size and library. If you don't mind taking a chance, that is.

It is compatible with the Arduino Due
4/5

MCUFRIEND, this display is compatible with Arduino Due when the appropriate libraries are used. When compiling, there are a few errors, the majority of which are due to wrong libraries. It'll work if you choose the right one. Because I'm not sure how reliable it is, I've given it four stars. I've only been using Arduino for two days and just received the display today, so only time will tell if it will last.
