Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use decimals here? According to the review, the product is not suitable, but the description looks like it is. Is it possible for the seller to ?

On these, the decimals do not work. These are 12 pin units but are not wired (14 pins for decimal control, I believe) to be used in decimal mode.

Can you please tell me the dimensions of your ?

It says the following on my cheap plastic ruler Modules that run edge to edge have the following characteristics • Display, edge to edge *2 5/8 in L x 1 in W x 3/8 in H Two inches long by three-quarters of an inch wide

If you sell a version without the colon, does it work instead of the decimal points?

We have. To locate the ASIN, please click here

Does it have a way to stop the green LED under the board from constantly blinking?

I'm not aware of any software that can do this. According to my understanding, this is not a critical issue. You can get rid of it by using a de-odorant An iron for soldering

A great buy at a low price
5/5

My favorite part of the board is that it was not already soldiered. A few others I tried had the pins on the wrong side of the board when they arrived, which caused the pieces to be destroyed when I tried The price was way lower than I had expected from the original 3packs It was perfect for the project I was working on.

The 1637s take a long time to update, decimal points do not work
3/5

Latest update It is connected via interrupt under the covers, and that causes stuttering when the 1637 updates are being done, resulting in long delays. The 1637 write only happens if serial data is arriving at the same time as it is being written. Normally you want to place a port. end() just before writing a 1637 and a port. begin() right after. As such, you should avoid this error. Having said that, serial GPS data arriving at 9600 baud is unaffected - at least for me. The only thing that might be affected is my 1637 writes, which now happen in 16 to 20ms as opposed to 20ms. I only use GPRMC messages and discard everything else anyway, so some of them may be affected, but I don't see any affect at all. The A/V review is as follows A brief update This corruption was caused by nanos that were only able to produce The 5v pin should be connected to 2 volts. There's no point in stopping there. The issue was corrected by a different nano of the same batch, which produced four nanos. Update for 5V A clock I use one of these in is beginning to exhibit corruption problems. Once a minute, it gets updated, and a digit or two is usually illuminated with the wrong segment on. It has never appeared on any of my other 1637 displays. In a nano, you need to write to the 1637 part in about 75 milliseconds per digit. That's extremely slow. These are OK for clocks, but not for anything else that requires a lot of processing power. Although they work well as clock displays, the lack of decimal points is disappointing. I bought them to act as display for my phone, not to tell me the time. When using 36in units from other vendors, the power pin and ground pin are reversible. Apart from that, they are identical in their functionality There are no changes needed to go from to Approximately 36 inches in length. You can choose between 56in and 60in The great thing about these is that they have a pin header in which you can connect an output pin so they can be daisy chained together. This is the. The 36in units I have were not equipped with this feature.

It is easy to be deceived by good displays
4/5

Do not be fooled by the pictures of the clock. The clock looks good but does not work. Despite the display showing decimal places, it is not wired to illuminate the decimal places. My regret is that I didn't read the other reviews closely and realized this sooner. It would have been better if the list had been clearer about this fact. Overall, the product is great and I would give it five stars if it wasn't for this small inaccuracy.

The program is faulty in some instances
5/5

As far as statistics go, I have not used enough of these, but it has happened to me and a few other people on forums

Every once in a while, you'll click on one of these and it will not stick. The display is set, and the segments are displayed, and then the display blinks VERY quickly. I don't think this is a library issue. One out of five of the applications I received did so. No one knows why I don't know. In the event that you get a bugged unit, you can just repeatedly call your function that sets the segments until it fixes itself. The display will be unreadable if the function is called more than 40 times per second, but with barely perceptible flickers. At 60 cycles per second, it is as smooth as you can get. The human eye is useless for anything higher than that, and anything more will affect its In other words, you do not have to keep resetting the brightness, only The bundle with this vendor is a bargain, since it has a wide variety of games that are not buggy, and I don't see any way to buy these affordably and be guaranteed you won't get a buggy one, so overall I'm happy with it. I would like to point out that, judging by the response from the community elsewhere, this bug is really The next time I order these, I will definitely order them.

An incorrect description of this product has been provided
3/5

There is a statement in the product description that they have "decimal points per digit", but it is not the TM1637 with decimal points. There are two versions of the TM1637 one displays the decimal points and one displays the colon, and the ones being shipped are the colon version.

The display is good as a clock except that it is Displays time well when used as a clock
4/5

There is just one disappointment - that they go from pretty bright to really bright, so as a clock display for a bedroom, you can't see them clearly. As soon as I reach about 1/3 or 1/4 of the scale, it is impossible for me to even tell the difference between brightness levels. The only solution I could find was to place some tinting film over the display to dim it down, but that really limited the range, so it would only work well at night, but during the day it would be unusable. Instead of being able to adjust the brightness, I would rather have a broad range of brightness levels.

Numerical values are not supported in decimal form
3/5

The units arrived as described and are in good condition. It's not because they have decimal points that you should be fooled. There is no reference to the decimal dots in this. While they work on the middle colon, they do not work on the left The model you've linked to doesn't support the decimal dots, though there are some that do.

I think it's okay! LED displays that are worth what they cost - they're excellent! This is the 5 color variant that I got In general, there were five colors, however the green LED display was changed to Setup is quick and easy Four pins are needed for this set up, and the display is very bright (especially on the white version)
4/5

The only problem is that there is one display that wouldn't work. However, in other words, it.
