I liked the speed at which it came and the quality that it appeared to have. This item broke during installation since it was jammed inside of the fixture. The best thing you can do is buy This will prevent mercury from entering the environment and save you money in the long run. They are expensive and I only lasted 8 months with my last T6.
This is a type of bulb I chose to use on one of the fixtures. The fixture is beautiful, but I'm having trouble finding the bulb that goes with it. (Can a bulb like this even be called a light bulb? That is definitely something to pay attention to. The light produced by this is bright and nice. As a replacement for the Viva brand 55w t6 double circline bulb that came with a Hampton Bay ceiling fixture (Home Depot store brand) that I bought a dozen years ago, I purchased this bulb. A replacement is not available at Home Depot, apparently because the Viva bulb has been discontinued. It is nonetheless a good replacement bulb and Satco makes it. Both inside and outside of the bulb are larger than what is provided in the Viva, but it will still fit in the clip. As a matter of fact, the original fit is a bit better (just firm enough, instead of really snug). A little bit of a difference can be seen in the pin base Instead of being angled, it is vertically oriented, and rotated 90 degrees relative to the Viva lamp. the wire that goes to the light bulb had enough slack that I was able to plug it in with no trouble. As it turns out, the bulb is quite bright, noticeably brighter than the old bulb (but this may just be a result of the dimming of the original bulb over time). I will be satisfied with this one if it lasts another 12 years. As far as delivery service goes, the only issue I had was with Amazon. The first bulb I ordered, unbelievably, arrived in a shipping carton that was five times as large as the bulb itself, and had virtually no packaging whatsoever. As expected, the bulb was broken when it arrived. My first impression when I picked up the delivery box was to hear the broken glass rattle around inside. After opening the undamaged delivery carton, I took video of its complete lack of packing materials, showing only the broken bulb inside. Fortunately, I have not needed to watch that video, as Amazon returned the item and issued a refund immediately. The following is a revised version of The only complaint I have is that it took a week to get an intact bulb, rather than the two days I had been promised under my Prime membership.
