I used my Fluke 87 meter to test the box, selecting 2k, and the meter read 1. The difference in resistance is 6 ohms, or 994 ohms. As a result, make sure the buyer is aware that it is incorrect. If you need precise resistance, use a meter to check your desired resistance.
This one comes in a nice, sturdy case with accurate values. This book comes highly recommended.
This resistance box is a personal favorite of mine. I was considering other, less expensive boxes, but decided against them because I'd rather spend a little more money on a high-quality product with perfect resistances. It has a removable blue rubber protective cover. br>br>It comes with a blue rubber protective cover that can be removed. If you need it to stand upright, it has a stand on the backside. It also had a scratch-resistant clear plastic face. br>br>The resistances are easy to tell if they are on or off because they have a big white dot when they are turned on. If you don't have any banana plugs, the plug ports can be screwed off and replaced with wires to serve as leads.
Made of high-quality materials at a reasonable price. For me, tolerance is adequate.
This is a tough and well-built product. It isn't as light as you might think. I'm afraid I'm powerless to comment on the long-term implications. Yet, there is no guarantee of long-term stability.
This decade resistance box appears to be of good quality. With my fluke 88, I double-checked the resistances, and they were nearly perfect. The stand, if that's what you want to call it, is functional. Some resistance boxes are completely devoid of this feature. It's also cushioned. Some other boxes, however, lack this feature. Overall, a good product at a reasonable price. br>br>This would be a useful tool for a mechanic or an electronics expert.
Very low-cost materials with a very small surface area Spend a little more on a high-quality decade resistor box or make your own.
I'm an auto technician, and I use this to load test airbag circuits, test fuel gauges, and any other circuit that works with resistance. It replaces two tools that would cost four times as much.
