yikes! So, I have no idea what happened. The installation went smoothly, and after a few months, everything was running smoothly. My press ceased to function one day. When I opened it up, I discovered that this was the source of the problem. The rocker connectors had melted together. I'm relieved that was the end of it. It's a good thing my press has two breakers, because this could have turned out badly.

The old switch, which had been in regular use for about four years, finally gave up the ghost. When I opened the case, it literally fell apart. The Twidec switch is a perfect fit for the case opening, and it even accepts the rubberized switch dust cover. In fact, this switch not only outperforms the old one in terms of quality, but it also lights up when activated. I can't believe it cost only $4 ($8 for two) and took only five minutes to install, saving me nearly $50 on a new sander. I would strongly suggest it.

The wiring instructions have not been referenced by reviewers who have stated that it does not light up. These aren't the clearest of diagrams, to be sure. Both the Live and Neutral lines must be broken when the switch is wired as a two-pole On/Off switch. It appears to be a well-made product, with a clear snap action on the toggle, depending on which terminals are used as the In vs Out of the switch. It will light up when the switch is On, or all the time, depending on which terminals are used as the In vs Out of the switch.

A standard rocker, to be sure. I'm a miserable person. These were purchased in the form of illuminated switches. Not at all. I'm not going to place another order. Not at all what they said. These switches will most likely be returned because they do not fit my needs.

This item was purchased to replace a steamer switch. The steamer uses so much energy that it overheats the original switch and destroys it. This one, too, melted. The real solution was to teach people not to leave the steamer on all day, but thankfully, my order came with two switches, so I replaced it again, and everything is fine now.

These switches' plastic bodies are extremely flammable. If you're going to use these in a project, I recommend getting the slide-on tab connectors as well, because soldering these switches is a recipe for disaster. br>(After messing up the first switch, I was able to solder the second switch just fine. ) However, take note:.

I buy four of these 20A switches at a time to operate my Pavoni Professional lever cappuccino machine because these cheap switches invariably burn out within a year, but they work, are inexpensive, and easy to replace.
