As far as I can tell my own are as close to 0 as possible. It can be easily fitted in a prototyping board with a 1" spacing in both dimensions, but while the pins are spaced 1" long, they are separated by a 0.1" spacing. With the pin distances across the board equal to 100" center to center, the board is 0" wide. A 125" rectangle. In all measurements, there is a variation of 0.1. (at least one sample from "002" on every line)
A breadboard's grids are divided in half by a well that is two grids wide therefore, a channel must be four grids wide to span the well. They won't span the channel, but will fit nicely into a 2 x 3 grid pattern on either side. And, since they are double pole switches, you can plug them into two adjacent lettered columns to make them single pole switches. As a result of my purchase, they were intended to be soldered to a custom circuit board, though I sometimes use them as single pole switches on a breadboard when I need an

25 is close enough. To work, you need 1" of spacing. There is a statement here that states they can be used in breadboards, etc. With the caveat that the pin spacing does not exactly match up with 0 across the center, this is true. The number one". My switches appeared to have 0 pin spacing so assuming the ones I received are representative, they should be the same length. The number 100. On the switch, however, there is no pin spacing between the pins. A 125" rectangle. Measurements that can be repeated to 0 (measurement repeatability). The difference between samples is not enough to cause trouble with a prototyping board, however, if you're going to build a custom circuit board with them, you will want to keep this in mind if you want them to fit in a given space. Otherwise, I received a box of 50 cheap, functional switches, and I was quite pleased.
These are fantastic little switches with smooth movement. I modified a few wireless keyboards so they could be turned.
Switches are possible with this component.
