It appears to be of high quality. Arrived on time. This switch was used to connect a shop fan to an old furnace blower. There are four different speeds for the furnace blower: low, medium low, medium high, and high are the four levels of difficulty. It's been up and running for a few weeks now, and it's fantastic!.
I have a large Christmas display set up in my living room. This is being used as yet another interactive display prop. On a 120-inch screen, visitors can choose between four laser projections. I was able to wire things thanks to the instructions on various items like this. I originally gave this a five-star rating because I liked the concept, but after only a week of use, the screw that connects the shaft (and the dial) on the internal part of the switch came undone, rendering the item useless. I attempted to disassemble it carefully in order to reattach the screw, but it was unsuccessful. I ordered a replacement, but it, too, only lasted a few days - in fact, it only lasted two days. After that, it had the same issue. I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller on the first one I purchased - It was ordered in July, the prop was assembled in August, and it was used on Black Friday - The 29th of November, to be precise. It broke in a short period of time, and I would not recommend it for any use in my situation.
This is the second time I've tried a similar switch. br>br>In the first one, there was a strange delay. It would take approximately 1 to 1 minute if you chose two of the five settings. It takes 5 seconds for it to connect. The first one was the one before that. br>br>This switch appears to be responsive and well-built, so I'm hoping that the project for which it was purchased is now finished. Because there were no instructions, I gave it a four-star rating. This meant I had to OHM the contacts to figure out which ones were made at each switch position. The switch is well-made and performs admirably for the purpose for which I purchased it.
It's always a lot of fun to install something properly. You must, however, be aware of this prior to entering the room. It does what it's supposed to do, and none of the four positions are connected to one another, so there's no risk of a short circuit.
For my shop aficionado, this is the ideal switch.
This is what I used on the lower motor of my furnace, and it seems to be working well so far.
It appears to be a good fit. The cost is extremely low. I needed a fan speed selector, and this was exactly what I needed.
