I'm always wary of electromechanical components sold on Amazon, eBay, and other sites because, despite the positive reviews, they're usually junk knockoffs. The mxuteuk 2 and 3 position, maintained, illuminated 120V rrotary switches that I've been receiving over the last few months have all been of good quality and serviceable. All of the expected elements are present: gasket, solid locking ring (with two screws for the backside of the panel if necessary), switch body, and knob set The lighting is bright enough to be used in full daylight outside, which is a requirement for my use (120V units). The switch neck (diameter 22mm) does allow for the use of a double-pole switch. d knockout to ensure that your panel is properly locked. Of course, if you prefer, you can simply cut a 22mm circular hole, but keep in mind that the single-hole method is also an option. or, alternatively, d route is also an option.
but. This appears to be an excellent option. The only way to find out is to wait. I docked two stars, however, because the light bulb is the incorrect voltage. As a result, it isn't what it appears to be. These are described as having 110v bulbs. However, because the bulb is marked for 220v, when used on 110v, it is very dim. I'll keep it and use it, but I'll have to get a new bulb for it. I was dissatisfied with this, so the next time I need one, I'll look for a different brand.
As a result, only three stars. It appears to be of high quality. I'm not sure if it's rated for continuous use, but it should be fine for occasional use. The 110V white Bayonet LED is now available, so add $6br> on this side of the world.
For a DIY project where I'm putting together a control box, I needed a quick delivery and a high-quality switch.
The lighted switch block, however, requires 230 volts, not 110 volts, as stated in the description. I bought three of them, each in a different color. Two out of three were wrong.
Fit the application perfectly, and it was easy to install in the panel.
The switch's bottom br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b It was simple to reinstall. a very bad design.
