Since it can handle at least 12 Ga, its 20 amp rating makes it a good choice.
What I did with the switch is exactly the same thing I did with my old switch. You just need to verify the amperage draw of your RV fridge. Only 1 amp is drained by my switch, well below the capacity of the circuit breaker.
You may run both voltages on your fridge if it is designed to do so, and if you have it completely wired correctly. This allows me to switch from shore power to converter power, which is still 110 volts as I need this to power my fridge.
