The new switch cost was less than the cost of a new exact replacement model in 2010. Yes, the instructions are in Chinese (which is a disadvantage), but if you can't figure out which leads go where, you probably shouldn't do it yourself. It took me about ten minutes to figure out what was going on. Even the faceplate was an exact replacement for my old switch, so that was perfect; it has a nice feel to it and has been working flawlessly for a couple of months. I am anticipating positive long-term outcomes. I was connecting three battery voltage inputs to a single meter output with the switch. To get the exact functionality I needed for the 3 to 1, I had to add a jumper, but that was simple enough to figure out. Get one and figure it out for the price!.

The switch disintegrated into about 20 pieces on its own. It was poorly constructed, with small plastic tabs holding it together. After being used, it becomes quite fragile. It was used for about two months before being put away for four months. While attempting to attach it to a front panel, it disintegrated into its component parts. There isn't a way to put it back together again. It's poorly built and expensive for what it is.

This is what I used to wire the multiple speeds of a furnace blower after a lot of searching. It works well and appears to be well-made; however, I would give it five stars if it came with a wiring diagram or was better labeled, and if it fit a standard electric box plate. br>br>If you're interested in purchasing this, the wiring diagram is included in the listing photos. This switch came with no instructions, so I had to use my multi-tool to figure it out. It took me a while to figure it out, but it wasn't too difficult. I hung an old furnace blower from the ceiling in my shop to install the switch. It functions in the same way as a multi-player game. Should be able to change positions. You can easily tell if you're changing the speed by one or more levels because the detents are very firm.

They appear to be low-cost, with a poor choice of screw driving theory that I'm sure will strip out before the second tightening, and the cover plate simply spins freely, allowing you to place it wherever you want it with no instructions, wiring, or procedure.
