Yes, it will work electrically as long as it fits into the existing switch's space.
I believe they are, but I am 100% not certain. It also depends on whether they are exposed to direct sunlight throughout the day on a daily basis. Mine are a year or two old, outside, and not in direct sunlight; they are fine; write to the seller for more information. Read the description carefully for details. I hope this has been of assistance.
Yes, a 48V system can use it as an ON/OFF switch. Don't believe LE's nonsense that it's only rated for 12V and "maybe up to 14V." At 250V, the switch can handle 15 amps and at 120V, it can handle 20 amps. So long as you're not drawing more than 20 amps from your 48-volt system, you're good to go. This switch will function correctly in a volt system.

The sheerness isn't excessive. The toggle switch snaps into place with a satisfying click. The TPU cover and plastic retainer rings appeared to be in good working order. br>br>I'm not sure why "Sheerness" needs to be rated on the review page. The cover and retainer are neither particularly form-fitting nor translucent. The switch itself isn't (and that's a good thing). br>br>I suppose you could wear it as a nightgown accessory, but the switch isn't sheer and wouldn't be comfortable under one.
The product is of good quality and is simple to set up. I was satisfied with my purchase except for the size of the on/off plate. I decided not to use the black rubber caps because they were of poor quality and did not appear to last very long if used.
The waterproof rubber boot is extremely easy to cross-country in, so I gave it four stars. thread. The metal ring that screws onto the threads is prone to slipping out of alignment, resulting in a cross-thread. jamming with threads- up mess. If you aren't, now is the time to change that. The switch is a five star when used with the boot.
A good, solid switch. It's a good product that's simple to put together.
BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! I decided to go with this after reading many positive reviews. I connected the switch to a control panel with some electronics that was powered by 120V. The panel draws a very small amount of current, less than 3A. The switch would no longer power off after a couple of cycles. It remained stuck, making the entire panel extremely hot and dangerous. I fiddled with it a little and it would shut off on its own every now and then, only to come back on the next cycle. br>br>I thought to myself, "Well, that's typical Chinese quality control. " I was dealt a bad hand. There are four more in the bag, so go ahead and try one more. I replaced it with another and it did the same thing! I'm not even going to bother with the other three; they're going in the trash. BUY THESE SWITCHES AT YOUR OWN RISK! br>br>I'm only out $10, so it's not worth the trouble to try to return it. I've learned my lesson and will be purchasing a high-quality switch from a local hardware store.
If it holds up, I got six for the price of one at the store, so it's a great deal.
The switch performs almost exactly as expected. The switch appears to be in good condition. Wire posts could be a bit larger, and the threaded post could be a little longer. When using a washer, ON/OFF plate, and securing nut, there were insufficient threads to secure the waterproof boot. The switch had to be secured using the threaded boot.
I haven't used these yet, and I only need one, so I'm basing this on looks. They appear to be a high-quality product, with a good weight and switch action. I checked for continuity on all of them and they all work in terms of on/off, and the one I installed looks good and shuts off the power to the buzzer as it should. This one will be used so infrequently that I doubt it will ever break down, and it looks fantastic. Now I just have to think of new ways to put them to good use.
