I have a serial number that begins with "DL" followed by a series of numbers, but this replacement switch will not work. As it is a 3 "D" cell Mag Light, this replacement switch will not fit a light with a serial number beginning with "DL".
I could not determine whether this was new style or old style based on the listing. Because I was looking for the old style, it may work well, but I'm not sure. have a serial number that starts with "C" or "D", you should be able to use this in theory. You should look for your serial number if it is just a series of numbers.
The switch was in such good shape that I didn't want to get rid of it for such a minor problem. It took only a few minutes to replace the MagLite, and I am running normally again.
The following is a list of the problems I had, but had they not been overcome, I would have had to live with them I must mention*br In the listing, there is no indication that tools are provided- The set screw nut had significant machine defects and could not be turned through until tapped*. After I received the first one, I received a replacement. It was exactly the same as the first (I compared both before sending Detailed description of the problem The switch assembly is too big to fit in a D-type tube The cell Maglite definitely does not fit! It is about 2mm larger than the original, so it even doesn't fit.
It leaked in the interior or exploded on its side. The interior was muddy. The switch was destroyed. I think it would have been worth the money to salvage the maglite since it was very expensive when I bought it so long ago. I loved everything about the trip. It was a little challenging to remove the old switch due to the rough interior of the tube caused by the corrosion from the.
There is no such thing as what is shown. We have here an offbrand replacement at a low price. In order to replace one that came from an old 5 D cell magazine, I purchased this one. The rubber button cover and the two Allen wrenches shown in the picture were not included with the lite. Compared to the original, the paper is slightly larger.
It came with the tools necessary to replace the switch, which was a nice surprise.
As soon as I used the batteries (Don't use Rayovacs) they exploded and I had to replace the switch with a 6D maglite. The flashlight was able to be cleaned up with the rest of its parts, but the switch was beyond repair. I bought this item and it was very well made and fit perfectly.
