The obvious question is durability, but so far the switch has performed admirably, providing good tactile feedback and an audible "click" as well as switching on and off as expected. It has a raised ridge along the side to prevent it from twisting after installation, so remember that in addition to drilling out the hole (3/4 inch), you'll need to either make a groove for the ridge or file the ridge off, depending on your needs. br>br>The attached wires will save you time and should be sufficient for most applications. br>br>The only reason for the one-star deduction is because one of my switches arrived crushed and broken due to poor packaging. As a result, I only had 9 switches that worked. It wasn't a big deal because I only needed 8, but it was still irritating to receive less than you paid for.
I've added LED lights to a four-wheeler and a zero-turn lawn mower with these. When you turn them on and off, they make a solid click, and they're simple to put together. Because the switch is just a smidge larger than the bit, I used a 3/4" bit and wiggled it a little to whaller out the hole. The notch on the side was then cut out with a file, and I have no complaints.
My van's interior lighting required the installation of a switch. I was surprised at how good the quality was for these small switches because they were the best value I could find. Drill a 1/2 inch hole and you're good to go. The Connectors that come with the kit are fantastic. For low-voltage applications, I strongly suggest these.
The lead wires on this switch are soldered, even if de-energized, according to the description. A standard 1/4" push-on connector that has been soldered will not function. The workmanship is excellent, but you should be aware that only soldered connections are available.
I used these to quickly remove some speakers from our entertainment room, leaving only one speaker next to my chair operational. My wife's hearing is excellent, while mine is quite poor.
They're 13/16" in diameter, but after doing some research, it appears that this is the smallest size available in a rocker switch. That being said, the product is exactly as described, with a diameter of 20mm, a reasonable price, and quick delivery. Amazon, please accept my gratitude.
The fact that this Rocker Switch is round is its most significant feature. I used a 3/4-inch drill bit. The switches fit perfectly in two lamp bases that I designed and built with only minor modifications. I'm going to buy a few more of these just in case.
This is exactly what I needed for my power monitoring station, which I built myself. Easy to install; simply drill the holes and use hot glue from the inside to secure the switch.
